In 1990, Ray and Ginger Baker named their outdoor garden railroad the R&G Railroad Company. Besides the initials coming from their first names, they had strong interests in the Rio Grande road-name. During 1991 they were approached to design a moderate priced wall mount railroad system and after many months of prototypes, the final product emerged. Over the years the product line has expanded to the present line of products and supplies. Their desire is to continue this company through the 21st century and make a strong and productive organization.
